Last month, our display director headed south to gather inspiration for holiday 2017 display trends at the AmericasMart Atlanta Gift Show. “Christmas in July” actually happens at Retailworks, because the holiday season is the busiest time of year for our display department. We like to get a head start on gathering our intel on trends for the year so we can start crafting custom display props by the time it’s summer. Read on to learn which holiday display themes will keep your store trendy this year.
1. Rainbow Wreaths
We loved this giant wreath made from rainbow lights and a collection of miniature color-coded objects.
Calling all reindeer! Antlers were incorporated into wall décor and also used to adorn trees.
Oversized props, such as sleighs and ornamental balls, were hung on Christmas trees to make a statement by adding extra dimension.
Gold was a popular color that we saw used repeatedly on ornaments, home décor and holiday props.
We spotted several trees and displays that paired decorations in glittery hues of silver and white.
